Wastewater Collections Department
We can’t just flush it
and forget it! In fact, there is over sixty-five miles of
sewer mains underneath city streets that transport the waste to our
wastewater treatment plant. All size pipes are used from a thirty-six
(36) inch down to a six (6) inch line. Clifton Beecher is the
Superintendent of the Collections System and Gary Graves is the Field
Supervisor over the Department and is responsible for all the sewer
mains, thirteen (13) lift stations, making new taps on residential as
well as commercial customers. This crew is usually the first one to
respond when a customer has a problem with their sewer. As a matter of
fact we think we’re #1 in the #2 business!
If you have any questions about your sewer or would like to learn more
about the Collection's System, please give Clif a call at (270)
586-9522.
Eric Stradtner
has 3 years experience and Corey Krulik has 2 years experience. These
gentlemen are all Service Technicians in the Sewer Collections
department. They strive to make sure that the main lines that transport
the waste are kept open and flowing so that you do not have any backups
in your sewer lines.
