Welcome to the City of Franklin, Kentucky’s website.  We are proud of our past as we look to the future of our city.  We feel that we have the best of both worlds…we are a small, progressive, and safe community with job availability and we are in a close proximity to larger cities, numerous attractions, and a network of excellent highways which make all directions easily accessible.  We are bordered by Tennessee and Bowling Green, Kentucky is just 18 miles to the north.  Our goal is to foster community cooperation and innovation by providing quality services to residents and businesses in an efficient and effective manner.  On our website you’ll find information about our departments as well as news regarding City projects.  Whether you are a city resident, business owner, or interested in visiting or moving to Franklin, we hope this site will provide the information you need.
