Police Officer

The City of Franklin, KY Police Department is accepting applications for an open Police Officer position.  Applications will be accepted for a Certified or Non-Certified Police Officer. We are an accredited agency with a lot to offer. Combined, we have one of the most competitive progressive pay scales and benefits packages in the region.  The salary range for this position will be $35,734 to $50,960 depending on experience. Code Enforcement Officer

The City of Franklin is accepting applications for the position of Code Enforcement Officer.  

Duties and Responsibilities:  Responsible for enforcing compliance with general City ordinances/codes.  Duties include but are not limited to performing building and site inspections, issuing notices of non-compliance and citations, organizing and maintaining daily inspection logs and other accurate records in a computer database.

Minimum Qualifications:  Must be at least 21 years of age.  High school diploma or GED equivalent.   Associates Degree peferred.  Good working knowledge of construction practices; experience with criminal justice and business administration is highly desirable.  Excellent organizational, written and oral communication and public relations skills are required.   Must be capable of performing multiple tasks simultaneously.  Must be capable of functioning in a high stress environment.  Must have a valid KY driver's license.

SERVICE/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

 

The City of Franklin, Kentucky is accepting applications for a Water Distribution Service/Maintenance Technician.  Responsible to the Distribution Superintendent for the operation and maintenance the water distribution system.  Job duties include, but are not limited to, performing routine daily maintenance throughout the Distribution System, such as install and repair of water mains, fire hydrant maintenance and flushing, meter replacement, and leak repair.  Also, must be available for on-call duty.
