Community Development
The Community Development department plans and manages all City of Franklin grants and works with public sectors in preparing grant applications for submission to state and federal agencies.  The department assists in activities related to community and economic development and administers activities and funding as directed by the city manager, mayor, and city commissioners. 

The Community Development department also develops internal and external communications.  It handles relations for the City and manages the City’s Government Access Channel, Comcast Cable Channel 3. 

The office of Code Enforcement is a division of the Community Development department and operates under the direction of the Community Development Director.
