Brush and Leaf Pick-up Collections Programs

Brush Collection Program Guidelines:

The City of Franklin will be conducting Brush Collection on a monthly basis starting in January 1. All brush relating to normal activities such as hedge or tree trimmings will be picked up. Cut tree limbs so as not to exceed three (3) inches in diameter and six (6) feet in length. Brush cut by property owners will be collected. Materials cut by professionals or hired tree trimmers will not be picked up and should be hauled away by those professionals. Place brush for collection at the curbside with cut ends facing street. Brush placed more than ten (10) feet from curb or edge of street will not be picked up. Limbs, tree trunks or other materials that are not readily capable of being ground in a commercial size wood chipper will not be picked up. Brush must be in position before 7:00 am on the day of pick-up for that sector; due to large amounts of brush the brush crew will only come by once. Quantities of brush picked up will be limited to approximately one pick-up truckload per resident per pick-up. NO EXCEPTIONS!
